Teodoro De Giorgio (1979), art historian, he has a PhD in studies on visual representation at the Institute of Human Sciences of Florence (Scuola Normale Superiore of Pisa). In his research activity he mainly deals with iconography and iconology, with particular regard to the origins and history of the functions, the use and the ways of using the images, as well as the circulation of figurative models, and with protection and management of cultural heritage. Lecturer at prestigious international conferences, he has conceived and curated important art exhibitions placed under the High Patronage of the President of the Italian Republic and is author of numerous scientific articles and publications. He writes about Huffington Post on the protection of cultural heritage.
